Dear friends,

 

Heather and I are embarking on our first mission trip together, as a couple.

 

As you might know, I am doing BASSM second year, and we’ve been fundraising for a mission trip to Trinidad. We had to cancel that trip because of a time conflict, and I am so excited to share that last night, after a whole month of emailing, we were given permission to join the Germany trip, despite the cap on numbers.

 

So on March 22-27, we will be joining a team of 6 others from the school and working with a church in Waren, Germany to activate them in the prophetic and help equip them to bring kingdom culture to Europe. The cost for this trip is actually cheaper than Trinidad : just $1800 per person, so Heather and I need to raise $3600 as soon as possible, as the final deadline will be mid-January.

 

The leader of the trip, Blake Healey, also indicated that we may have to handle our own travel and housing arrangements since the trip was really only set up to accommodate 6 people. We’re not worried about that. In fact, I am very excited at the prospect of having to rent a car and drive on the speed-limit free autobahn. As for Heather, she's looking forward to the idea of perhaps arriving a few days earlier and take a pre-mission trip to Herrnut, Germany, birthplace of the Moravian prayer meeting that bagan in 1727 and birthed a prayer and missions movement. The world is so crazy these days, and we need a supernatural move of God more than ever.

Tax-deductible contribution are possible through on our church website's donation page. In the scroll down menu, select Germany Mission Trip 2017, fill your personal info then hit submit. Once you have competed this step, please email Bethel Atlanta's accountant to inform her that you wish that the amount you paid be assigned to Heather and Matthieu's mission trip fund.
