GMEA AUDITION PREPARATION | MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND
Flutists who are participating to the GMEA audition will have the opportunity to work with Matthieu. The session will include a videotaping of each student at the beginning and at the end, in order to measure his/her progress, and give every player the opportunity to experience the conditions of an audition.
Technical and musical aspects of the program will be discussed and studied, and personal tips will be given to enable each flutist to be ready and feel confident.
Stage anxiety management will be addressed though relaxation techniques.
Every student will leave the workshop with a tailor-made practice program, and fond memories of a time of fun camaraderie and achievement.
The workshop will take place at the Georgia Academy of Music.
